Specifically designed for new listeners, Orli Shaham's lecture will look at how composers from different eras approached their art. Orli will explore their use of pitch, intervals, rhythm, and meter through discussion, demonstration, recordings, and live music. Each subscriber to this series will be entitled to a ticket to one Chamber Music Society performance from a selection of fall concerts.Orli (google search)is a concert pianist, and a lovely person. Well worth hearing, whether it be playing or speaking about music.
