Toimes under attack from New York Times

A certain lady from The New York Times' legal department has asked us to change our name and change the font of the heading that has made our new readers smirk since this blog's inception in 2005.

It seems that the financially troubled 'grey lady' is pissed off at us for using the gothic font on our little blog.
We'll keep you up to date as things progress, but we think that our lawyer friends know best and we shall wait for their advice before making our next move.

What say the people?
Do they think that the New York Times should compensate us for the changes they are adamantly demanding? Will it be cheaper for them to donate or purchase than to go to court?
We think so.

typical of the NY Times...
They should donate $10 000 to Haiti, or buy you guys out.
Silly behavior on their part

I agree, the TIMES NEEDS TO CALM THE $%$#@ down, this blog does nothing but good for NY and its visitors.

Go Toimes!

Your title is obviously a play on a theme, and if the big newspaper doesn't get it then maybe the courts will explain it to them!!!

Good luck

We'll cancel our subscription to the NY Times if they bully you guys into changing.
We are behind you and your great blog.

We'll stay tuned

I think you have had this blog running long enough to warrant compensation for changing stuff at their request

if they want you to give up your brand identity, they better be willing to pay for it. it's clearly a tongue in cheek parody type thing which is 100% LEGAL.

Attacking a public service blog.... how petty is that?
You should call PBS, it's worth a mention

This blog is clearly not in competition with the Times... what's this lady's problem? (And what's her name?) Maybe the blog is breaking the rules, but are they willing to go to court for it?
I say they should give you 10 grand and it'll all be over...

Your blog keeps getting better and better! Your older articles are not as good as newer ones you have a lot more creativity and originality now. Keep it up!
And according to this article, I totally agree with your opinion, but only this time! :)
